Makayla and Brady matched on Tinder in October of 2022. A few weeks later, Brady ghosted Makayla. When they reconnected again in June 2023, Makayla knew there was something about him that required a second chance.

Ten days after rekindling their fling, they went on their first date and they've been inseparable ever since. Both knew that they had found their person. For a year and a half, they navigated the challenges that came with living a year apart until they decided they couldn't be apart anymore.

They've built a life together in Fredericton consisting of their dog and two cats in their cozy home. Brady took the first step to making their family official by proposing on October 24, 2025 at the Candlelight Concert event in Moncton. Makayla couldn't say "yes" fast enough.
