Our Wedding

Makayla and Brady matched on Tinder in October of 2022. A few weeks later, Brady ghosted Makayla. When they reconnected again in June 2023, Makayla knew there was something about him that required a second chance. Ten days after rekindling their fling, they went on their first date and they've been inseparable ever since. Both knew that they had found their person. For a year and a half, they navigated the challenges that came with living a year apart until they decided they couldn't be apart anymore. They've built a life together in Fredericton consisting of their dog and two cats in their cozy home. Brady took the first step to making their family official by proposing on October 24, 2025 at the Candlelight Concert event in Moncton. Makayla couldn't say "yes" fast enough. They are looking forward to celebrating their love story with their closest friends and family.

Taylor and Makayla first met in 2018 while working together and quickly became inseparable after their very first friend date, seeing Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again. Even after two years of long-distance friendship between Ontario and New Brunswick, their bond has only grown stronger. Taylor is endlessly proud to stand by Makayla’s side as her Maid of Honour and celebrate this next beautiful chapter in her life.

Dylan is the older brother of Brady. We've always been close to each other and now live just a street over from each other. Both of our love for sports has always kept us close and brought us to many football, basketball, and hockey games. I am proud to be Brady's Best man and wish him the best for the next part of his life with Makayla.

Miranda met Makayla at Algonquin College where they were both enrolled in event management. They later ended up working at the Ottawa Animation Festival together where they bonded over looking at trips rather than working, and going on Timmie’s runs throughout the day.

Lauryn is the youngest of Makayla's twin sisters by three whole minutes. They've always been close, but their bond has grown as they've gotten older. Whether they're traveling for concerts, bonding over sports, or sharing jokes that make their mother give them ~the look~, they're always up for an adventure, and this may be their biggest one yet.

Madison is the oldest of Makayla's twin sisters by three minutes - a fact she constantly reminds Lauryn of. Makayla and Madison share the same clumsiness, inability to not cry over the Twilight saga, and love of travel and they bond over those things frequently when they're not exchanging cat pictures. Madison can't wait to stand next to Makayla as she marries Brady.

Registry

When do I have to RSVP by?

RSVPs are required to be submitted by June 15. If you do not RSVP by then, we will mark you as a no and we will be unable to accommodate you on our special day.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 3pm. We kindly request that you arrive no earlier than 2:15 and no later than 2:45 to get a good seat.

Can I bring a plus-one?

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, it will appear when you RSVP.

Are children invited?

As much as we'd love to invite all of the children in our lives, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of close family.

Is there a dress code?

We encourage you to wear your best summer formal attire. Women can wear their favourite sun dresses or summery outfits. Men can wear light trousers and short-sleeve button downs. Women are asked not to wear white and the men not to wear t-shirts. Please avoid jeans.

Do you have a gift registry?

Please do not feel obliged to buy us a gift. All that we are expecting is you. If you would like to give something, a contribution towards out honeymoon fund would be greatly appreciated.
